Alcatraz vs The EVIL Librarians
by Brandon Sanderson

So, there I was, tied to an altar made from outdated encyclopedias, about to get sacrificed to the dark powers by a cult of evil Librarians.

As you might imagine, that sort of situation can be quite disturbing. It does funny things to the brain to be in such danger -- in fact, it often makes a person pause and reflect upon his life. If you've never faced such a situation, then you'll simply have to take my word. If, on the other hand, you have faced such a situation, then you are probably dead and aren't likely to be reading this.

And thus begins this cheeky, funny book by
Alcatraz Smedry, who is known by some adults as Brandon Sanderson.

Talking Points:::
Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians is a book that is going to appeal to tweeners and middle-graders and those of us who can still reach that youthful, disrespectful parts of our brains.

This is a boy-friendly book. (We're frequently asked for series that will appeal to boys, and this one is definitely one to check out.)

Other books in the series are Alcatraz Versus The Knights Of Crystallia and Alcatraz Versus The Scrivener's Bones.
