| Don't faint. I actually read an 'adult book'. Soulless is quirky fun. It's an alternative history that's part steam-punk, part romance AND definitely NOT for children.

- Mr. Tucket
- Call Me Francis Tucket
- Tucket's Ride
- Tucket's Gold
- Tucket's Home
All by Gary Paulsen Though I read all of these as separate books from the library, they are available in one volume at a price only a couple of bucks more than the price of one single book. This is an EXCELLENT series for boys. Adventure and insight into the dangers of traveling the Oregon Trail. Worth buying for the home shelves.

| Notes From the DogI've recommended this book to several of my librarian friends and they've all thanked me.
And me... Paulsen had me with tears streaming down my cheeks. Sometimes from laughing so hard, and sometimes in sympathy with the characters pain and anguish.
I really loved this simply told story of two 14 year-old boys, and the young college girl they come to love and support as she battles cancer.

| Started this one and it's SciFi. I didn't know Gary Paulsen did Scifi.

| Nightjohn was so good, I had to pick up this book to see what happened to Sarny.

WARNING: adult book. (I don't know if I'm going to be able to read this one as it's a bit 180 from the other books that are on the shelf for this month. But we'll see.)

| I've started this one and it's interesting. There are two characters: one Indian boy who was just shot in the head by 'bluebellies' on the Mexican border; and one modern boy is out camping in the same region. I'm curious to see where Gary takes this.
