Where is Coco Going? by Sloane Tanen

If you are looking for a book that appeals to a wide range of children, look no further than "Where is Coco Going?".

This book, by Sloane Tanen and Stefan Hagen, is a kid magnet and it has everything to do with the cute little Coco, the adorable little yellow 'Easter' chick.

The driving force behind the story is Coco's journey to her grandmother. Travelling by a variety of means --airplane, train, bike-- in a variety of places, the author elevates the trip into the fantastical which is just as attractive a notion as the idea of a society of chicks.

There isn't anything with any depth here, but I can tell you that this is a primo coffee-table book for children, and a ton of fun.

Considerations :::
No Accelerated Reading number is available for this book: consider it a book to be read-to children.

Special Note: Please be wary of the author's other books, as some of them are NOT for young children. I haven't looked at all of them, but "Appetite for Detention" is for young adults despite having the same cute yellow (and pink) chicks.
