Peek-a-Boo, I Love You! is a cute lift-the-flap board book to share with baby. The artwork is cheerful and colorful and it's a Good Read-Aloud. Here's two sample verses of what you'll find:
Who's that hiding under there?
Peek-a-Boo!
A brown bear in a chair.
and at the end,
And who's that right there, as cute as can be...
Peek-a-Boo, I love you!
The sweetest baby in the world to me!

Peek-a-Boo, I love you!

This last verse is hidden behind a big red heart. And the heart hides a mirror so baby can see himself/herself!
Considerations:::
Peek-a-Boo, I love you! is a Good Read-Aloud with nice artwork that should appeal to babies. I like that there is rhyme, since rhyming has been shown to encourage understanding of language and the development of reading skills.
There is a soft heart on the front cover, which provides some sensory feedback to little fingers, and the flaps are large which makes it easy for all of us to turn them.
I should tell you though that the flaps are the thinner sort, which in my experience means that this will be a book to read with toddlers. My two, at least, were rather rough on books with the less sturdy flaps.
